October is National Cider Month, and we have a full line-up of events, contests, activities, and giveaways to celebrate everything cider! Social Media Contests - All Month
It's a social media takeover! The Yankee Cider Co staff has taken control of the social media accounts and they are throwing down all kinds of challenges and contests throughout the month.
Make sure you follow Yankee Cider on Instagram (@yankeeciderco) as well as on Facebook, so you don't miss the chance to score some free goodies and merchandise.

Collectible Trading Cards - All Month
Throughout National Cider Month, each our our bartenders has a unique trading card available for you to collect while they're working! Collect all 9 and win a very special prize, in addition to being entered in our Grand Prize Raffle.
Each card features fun and quirky facts about the staff that helps make your cider experience at our Cider Barn complete! And our bartenders will also be posting frequently on our Yankee Cider Co social media channels throughout the month too. So if you're strategic you'll be able to fully complete your collection by making sure you like and follow us on social media!
Collect 3 cards or more and win a special Cider Month 2025 pin, sticker, and USA 250th Anniversary Cup
Collect 6 cards or more and win the above prizes, plus a Yankee Cider Co Hat and a Yankee Cider embroidered Henley
Collect 8 or more cards and win the above prizes, plus a Yankee Cider Co Tap Handle along with a plush Yankee Cider blanket - And an entry into the Grand Prize Raffle
Grand Prize:
The grand prize winner will be drawn from all individuals who collect 8 or more cards and includes an Insulated Growler Tote, A Unique Drinktanks Steel Growler, Kegulator Accessory Kit, and a "Applejack O'Lantern" glow-in-the-dark hoodie.
Cards must be presented for prizes no later than 10/31/2026
Yankee Cider reserves the right to modify these offers at any time. One prize pack per person, per set of cards. No purchase necessary to receive a trading card. Your card set must be presented in-person during normal business hours twenty-four (24) hours before the Grand Prize Pack Drawing. The Grand Prize Pack drawing will be held at 3 PM on November 1st, 2026 - Winner need not be present. No purchase necessary to collect a card, but cards are limited to one per customer, per visit.
Not-So-Obvious - October 1 (Every Thursday)
Are you ready to play Not So Obvious? This half-trivia, half-Connections style game is a great way to tease your brain while having some fun!
Your team competes head to head against other teams are you race to be the first team to figure out what a list of words shares in common - but it's not so obvious! A list of foods hides another shared trait that you have to figure out, for example. Eight rounds are played every week along with a special bonus music round as you compete for great prizes, discounts, merchandise, event tickets, and more.
Every Thursday Night through December at 6:30 PM. Hints and previews posted on our socials every week! Free event - no ticket or registration needed

Cider Month Kick-Off - October 2
Cider Month officially begins at Yankee Cider Co. We'll be releasing a brand-new cider flavor that night and we'll also have a few ways to dig a little deeper into what makes cider so interesting.
Enjoy a Cider Maker Q&A that will give you a behind-the-scenes opportunity to learn how hard cider is made, and to ask questions along the way.
We'll also have a selection of different apple varieties for tasting so experience just how dramatically different varieties can be in flavor, aroma, sweetness, acidity, and overall character.
And if you've accumulated a few extra growlers over the years, bring your empty branded growlers along for our growler swap. Trade duplicates with other cider fans, find a design you've been missing, and enjoy a discount on a refill of your new growler.
Finish off the night with some keg bowling! You'll have a chance to win an extra trading card to add to your collection and get you one step closer to the grand prize!
October 2nd - Starting at 4:00 pm
Paws and Pours - October 3
Join Paws New England for a fundraising day at Yankee Cider Company with adoptable dogs on-site!
Enjoy some amazing ciders and help us raise some much-needed funds! PAWS New England rescues abandoned, neglected, and abused dogs from high-kill shelters and desperate situations, providing them with veterinary care and much needed TLC.
$1 of all pours and 20% of bottle sales will go to help dogs in need.
There will be many wonderful, adoptable dogs on-site throughout the day for you to play with and get to know. You may even consider adopting one and filling out an application!
Enjoy the wonderful grounds and chill atmosphere! Bring the family!
October 3rd - 2 to 5:00 pm
Candle Making Night - October 3
Summit Scent Company returns to our cider tap room for another fun night out with creative candle making! Enjoy a few laughs and a lot of fun in this don't-miss event. Summit Scent Co is a woman-owned small business that takes candle making to a new level of creativity. Aida will guide you through the steps of choosing your scents and pouring your candles, as well as helping you choose from a wide range of decorative pieces like dried flowers, gem stones, and more to make your candle into a (great smelling) work of art!
Ticket includes your first glass of cider as well as all of the materials and assistance you need. Don't miss out on this fun new take on a classic crafting event!

October 3rd- 6:00 pm
Coaster Painting - October 4
Join us at the cider tap room for a creative afternoon out at our Custom Coaster Painting Night with Jada from The Paint Bar CT!
Jada will walk you through the painting process, offering guidance and inspiration as you create your own set of custom coasters. Whether you have a specific design in mind or just want to see where your creativity takes you, you’ll have plenty of room to make them your own.
Come ready to relax, enjoy a few laughs, sip some cider, and leave with a set of one-of-a-kind coasters you’ll actually want to use at home. No painting experience necessary; just bring your creativity and enjoy the afternoon!

Community Press - October 4
This fall, we’re gathering at the cider barn for a new Yankee Cider tradition: Bring the apples from your backyard, your family farm, or that old tree at the edge of your property; and help us press them into something that belongs to all of us.
Our Community Press is a celebration of New England orchards, neighbors, harvest season, and the simple pleasure of making something together. Throughout the day, you’ll be able to both see and take part in the pressing process as apples from across our community are washed, ground, and pressed into fresh juice. That juice will become our next limited-release cider, “A More Perfect Union”.
And yes, there’s a little something waiting for those who bring their harvest: for every 5 pounds of apples you contribute, you’ll receive one 22oz bottle of the finished cider when it’s released, up to 3 bottles per customer.
We’ll also have limited-edition Community Press T-shirts available for pre-purchase, so you can commemorate the inaugural pressing and wear a little piece of the tradition home with you. (Link coming soon!)
