National Cider Month 2026 - Week 2
October 8 through October 12 - Open On Columbus Day
October is National Cider Month, and we have a full line-up of events, contests, activities, and giveaways to celebrate everything cider! Make sure you follow us on Instagram at @yankeeciderco so that you don’t miss out on any opportunities to win lots of limited edition prizes, including special trading cards, throughout the month of October. We have a ton of cool stuff planned, so keep scrolling to see it all.
Candle Making Night - October 8
Summit Scent Company returns to our cider tap room for another fun night out with creative candle making! Enjoy a few laughs and a lot of fun in this don't-miss event. Summit Scent Co is a woman-owned small business that takes candle making to a new level of creativity. Aida will guide you through the steps of choosing your scents and pouring your candles, as well as helping you choose from a wide range of decorative pieces like dried flowers, gem stones, and more to make your candle into a (great smelling) work of art!
Ticket includes your first glass of cider as well as all of the materials and assistance you need. Don't miss out on this fun new take on a classic crafting event!
No at-the-door tickets are available. Please pre-purchase online in advance.

Mystery Detective Night - October 9
Get ready for a thrilling mystery puzzle challenge at Yankee Cider Co! Join us for a two-hour interactive team puzzle solving event where you will race to be the first team to solve the crime! Put your detective skills to the test as you work together to unravel the presented crime puzzle in a series of steps. This is a free event to attend, but requires advanced registration of a team of between 6 and 8 people to participate. A maximum of 4 teams are able to play. Please register 1 ticket per team of 6 or 8, and include an email address so we can contact you for additional information as needed.
The event is an in-person event and takes place at our 23 Petticoat Lane Tap Room Location. Ages 21+ only - Not suitable for minors.

Dinner With A Cider Maker - October 10
This Cider Month, experience a rare opportunity to have Dinner with the Cider Makers on Saturday, October 10th. Weather permitting we’ll be setting up tables and chairs in our orchard and invite you to bring your favorite dish to enjoy with the Yankee Cider team among the apple trees. This will be a potluck dinner, so bring a dish if you'd like, grab a glass of cider, fill your plate, and settle in for an evening of good food and easy conversation.
There's something particularly nice about sharing a meal this time of year, surrounded by the apples that will become next year's cider. Ask us about the orchard, the cider we're drinking, how we make it, what we're working on, or whatever else you've always wondered about. So bring a dish, bring a friend, and come hungry. We'll take care of the cider.
In the event of poor weather, Dinner with a Cider Maker will be relocated into the Cider Barn. Free event, but please RSVP using this link:
October 10th - 6:00 PM
Campfires & Caramel Apples - October 11
Gather around the campfire and enjoy something a little spooky and special with our Campfires and Caramel Apples event! We'll have the fire going, cider pouring, and a little something sweet waiting for you at our Build Your Own S'mores & Caramel Apple Bar. Come listen to the stories, enjoy the fire, and build your own perfect campfire treat while you're at it. Bring a friend, pull up a chair, and settle in. Connecticut has no shortage of strange stories and they tend to sound just a little more believable when you're hearing them around a campfire.
The event itself is free to attend, but tickets are required to indulge in the Build Your Own S’mores and Caramel Apple Bar. Please note that while the event is free, it is not suitable for anyone under 16.
Come for the cider and caramel apples. Stay for the stories. Just don't wander too far into the orchard after dark.

Social Media Contests - All Month
It's a social media takeover! The Yankee Cider Co staff has taken control of the social media accounts and they are throwing down all kinds of challenges and contests throughout the month.
Make sure you follow Yankee Cider on Instagram (@yankeeciderco) as well as on Facebook, so you don't miss the chance to score some free goodies and merchandise.

Collectible Trading Cards - All Month
Throughout National Cider Month, each our our bartenders has a unique trading card available for you to collect while they're working! Collect all 9 and win a very special prize, in addition to being entered in our Grand Prize Raffle.
Each card features fun and quirky facts about the staff that helps make your cider experience at our Cider Barn complete! And our bartenders will also be posting frequently on our Yankee Cider Co social media channels throughout the month too. So if you're strategic you'll be able to fully complete your collection by making sure you like and follow us on social media!
Collect 3 cards or more and win a special Cider Month 2025 pin, sticker, and USA 250th Anniversary Cup
Collect 6 cards or more and win the above prizes, plus a Yankee Cider Co Hat and a Yankee Cider embroidered Henley
Collect 8 or more cards and win the above prizes, plus a Yankee Cider Co Tap Handle along with a plush Yankee Cider blanket - And an entry into the Grand Prize Raffle
Grand Prize:
The grand prize winner will be drawn from all individuals who collect 8 or more cards and includes an Insulated Growler Tote, A Unique Drinktanks Steel Growler, Kegulator Accessory Kit, and a "Applejack O'Lantern" glow-in-the-dark hoodie.
Cards must be presented for prizes no later than 10/31/2026
Yankee Cider reserves the right to modify these offers at any time. One prize pack per person, per set of cards. No purchase necessary to receive a trading card. Your card set must be presented in-person during normal business hours twenty-four (24) hours before the Grand Prize Pack Drawing. The Grand Prize Pack drawing will be held at 3 PM on November 1st, 2026 - Winner need not be present. No purchase necessary to collect a card, but cards are limited to one per customer, per visit.
